Dental Mold Kit

Dental Mold Kits contain materials that help in taking an exact impression of your teeth. Having a perfect impression is the most important part of getting your Custom Grillz.

Our Dental Mold Kits come with everything you need to take your own impression yourself. Follow the simple steps below to get started,

Before you begin, brush your teeth and wash hands (or wear gloves) to avoid getting an imperfect dental impression.

1. Mix the white and blue dental putty together at a fast pace for 30 seconds to make a new uniform color.

2. Roll the putty into a 'sausage link' shape and press it into the mouth tray. Note: The putty will begin to harden within 1 minute.

3. Next, open your mouth as wide as you can and bite into the middle of the mouthpiece without being to close to the walls of the tray. Use your finger to apply pressure to the tray for 3 minutes (DO NOT MOVE OR TALK). Make sure the putty covers your teeth and gums. Your impression must have a good visible gum line (where your teeth meet your gum). Use a mirror for the best results.

4. After 3 minutes, remove the tray from your mouth carefully by lightly wiggling it out. Check the impression for quality. Be sure all teeth are registered and your gum line is visible. If you aren't satisfied with the impression, use the extra set of putty and repeat steps 1 - 4.

5. Leave the putty in the tray and send it back in the plastic bag.
